color coded pairings
I previously wrote about achromatic aberration. My glasses have different focal lenghts for different colors. The red pairings appear to be above the page.
My comment was not a complaint. I was just pointing out a curious bit of physics. It would have been neat if others notice the same thing. I think multi-colored pairings are fine.
I envy those who do not ned corrective lenses.
I have not viewd the multicoloured pairings with my contacts. I only were contacts when I ride my motorcycle in the rain.
A down side of contacts is toric lenses are expensive. My cheap contacts have the same focal length for a vertical or horizontal image. My eyes do not. My glasses correct for astigmatism but my contacts do not. I have a pair of glasses that correct for astigmatism only. Sometimes I wear these with my contacts.
Another advantage of contacts is they do not reflect light. The less light reflected the more light transmitted and the brighter the image. This is important when veiwing stars. It can also be important when trying to view idiots who cross the street at night wearing dark clothes.
If you have difficulty seeing pedestrians at night your GPS or other lights in yu car could be the problem. If your GPS does not automatically have a day and night mode you should change the brightness stteing manually
